Before joining the IFEA in 2001, Kaye worked for 8 years as the Vice President & Director of Sponsor Services for the Boise River Festival – a four-day festival that featured over 400 events and reached an aggregate attendance of more than 1 million.  She was the first intern and volunteer hired by the Festival.  The Festival also served as the management company for NCAA college football’s “Humanitarian Bowl” from it’s creation in 1997 through 1999, for which she also worked as Vice President. 

Additionally, Kaye assisted with the production of the Boise 2000 Millennium Celebration, with annual induction ceremonies for the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame, and served on the board of directors for the Rocky Mtn. Festivals and Events Association.
